RAISE is chaired by Professor Matt Bower. Matt has led more than thirty research projects and published one hundred peer reviewed research papers in the educational technology field. Matt is joined by several academic experts at Macquarie University, including A/Prof Emilia Djonov, A/Prof John De Nobile, A/Prof Alice Chik, Dr Jodie Torrington, Dr Hua-Chen Wang, Dr Janet Dutton, Dr Jennifer Lai, Dr Karen Woo, Dr Hye Eun Chu, Dr Emma Burns, Dr Gavin Hazel, Bronwyn Tragenza, Jane Athota, Garry Jones, Debra Williams and Adam Inder, each with their own disciplinary and methodological expertise. RAISE is also open to teachers and academics who are conducting or interested in AI in Education research. RAISE is committed to nurturing the next generation of educational researchers through school-based research collaborations and higher degree research programs.
